Quiet Forms is built around one material: the biwa pearl, a long, flat freshwater pearl with a naturally uneven surface. Here the pearls are stacked, angled or spaced along the chain, so the shape of each one becomes the design. Drift pairs them with clear and smoky quartz; Ridge stacks them into a ring, earrings and a chunky chain; Fanlight sets them into a bracelet.

Each piece is made by hand in small batches in Pittsburgh. Pearls are chosen for luster first, then for shape, and set on 18K PVD titanium steel for everyday wear.
